Remember WHOSE you are
Kathy was called home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2022. She was born in Brunswick, Georgia, to Vera Peacock and J.B. Proctor. She grew up in Macon. She attended Truett McConnell College and received her Nursing Degree from Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She was married to Bobby Respess for 32 years. They and their two daughters lived in Dunwoody, Georgia, where she was a stay-at-home mom.
When the girls were grown, she worked as a Registered Nurse for several private practices and eventually retired from Northside Hospital where she was the charge nurse for the 3rd floor Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Kathy lived to tell others about Christ.
She was determined to have a purpose for the kingdom of God. She went on many mission trips and took each of her grandchildren on their first mission trip. She went to Romania, Poland, East Asia, Zambia, Tanzania, Peru, Guatemala, Brazil, Haiti and more, telling people about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a BSF leader and knew the Bible inside and out.
Kathy loved the Atlanta Falcons and was sure the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs won their National Titles just for her. She was a water skier, scuba diver, an avid boater, and tennis player. She always reminded people to “remember WHOSE they are”. It is truly well with her soul.
