Obituary

Christopher “Reid” Horn, born on October 10, 1964, in Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on April 16, 2025, in Johns Creek, Georgia. A devoted Christian and a member of Perimeter Church, Reid lived a life grounded in faith, integrity, and love for family and community.

Reid was a devoted and loving husband to Qingyi and a proud father to his eldest son, Alexander, his daughter-in-law, Lauren, and his youngest son, Stephen. He was also the cherished eldest son of Kenneth and Phyllis Horn, the beloved older brother to Kenneth Gregory Horn, and a wonderful brother-in-law to Sally Horn. His presence brought warmth and strength to those closest to him.

Reid earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. With a sharp mind and steady dedication to his craft, he built a career as a mechanical engineer, contributing his skills with precision and professionalism. Reid also formed many great friendships throughout his career.
