Crossroads Career Network

Serving through encouragement, contacts, and coaching

Next Event

Monday, July 18 @ 6:30-8:30 PM
Midtown Auditorium (Perimeter Church, Main Floor)
NetLearning:  How to Learn Your Way to a Great Career with John Kalusa

John Kalusa, Director of Global Talent Acquisition for Profisee, an enterprise software company based in Alpharetta

"NetLearning" is something I've introduced to the people I've coached to help them understand how to change their frame of reference from "selling" to "learning".

Because we perceive networking as something that requires time and effort to build and cultivate, the word, "networking", can strike fear in people who are in career transitions.  Most people don't network regularly (or think they don't) and are intimidated when they NEED to network in their job search. It makes them uncomfortable (and the person they are networking with as well) to always be pitching themselves.

Presentation topics:

  • Learning the difference between Networking and NetLearning.
  • Identifying people in your target markets, industries and companies.
  • How to effectively Network with and NetLearn from your contacts.
  • Creating, building and growing a network that delivers.

Crossroads Career Ministry is a not-for-profit ministry which seeks to provide contacts, counsel, and encouragement to help you find a job, a career, your calling. Perimeter's Crossroads Career Ministry offers monthly career meetings that become foundations for support and spiritual growth. Each meeting includes a short presentation by a guest speaker or expert in the business community. Attendees gain insight and instruction on what scripture teaches about employment and provision from God. There is no charge to attend. All are welcome to come to the monthly meetings; bring a friend, your resume, paper, pen, and questions!

Crossroads Career Ministry is a ministry of Perimeter Church which exists to encourage and instruct people who are unemployed or misemployed in their current career.

Crossroads Career Ministry provides stewardship service in a time of vulnerability and uncertainty by bringing those in need before the cross.
