A glimpse into faith at work in our community

This spring, Perimeter Church member Greg Lang was honored for more than a decade of faithful service with Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett—a nonprofit committed to providing quality, affordable healthcare to the poor and uninsured. Lang, who served as executive director from 2011 to 2023, was instrumental in revitalizing the ministry, growing it into a vital safety-net provider serving tens of thousands in one of Georgia’s most diverse counties.

On April 1, Good Samaritan Gwinnett celebrated the opening of its new Screening & Prevention Annex (SPA) in Norcross—a facility dedicated in Lang’s honor. The annex expands access to screenings, infectious disease care, and childhood vaccinations, especially for the area’s fast-growing immigrant and underserved populations.

Lang’s leadership embodies Perimeter’s heart: equipping members not just for ministry inside the church, but for kingdom flourishing beyond its walls. Good Samaritan is one of 58 local nonprofit partners Perimeter walks alongside to bring the light of the gospel into dark places. Many church members have served on the clinic’s board, prayed with patients, or volunteered their time and skills.

“At Good Sam, we serve people from more than 70 countries,” Lang once said. “But what unites us is the love of Christ—and our call to go and do likewise.”

His story is a reminder: the Church isn’t just a building. It is a sending place. And together, we can care for the sick.
