Forward in Faith | Spring 2025
Women in our congregation are sharing their faith in the places and spaces God has put them in.
Becca, a mom of three, is reading The Answer by Founding Pastor Randy Pope with a small group of moms in her neighborhood. Becca said that the women are dedicated to showing up each week regardless of their schedules as they investigate the gospel. She’s encouraged when she hears her neighbors make statements like “I used to think salvation meant…” or “I’m coming to understand that…” She said, “I’m seeing a paradigm shift in their interpretation of the truth and the gospel, and it’s encouraging.”
Ashley has been a believer as long as she can remember. She always had a diverse group of female friends with all kinds of beliefs including atheism, but spiritual conversations just seem to flow naturally. Over the last ten years, God has grown her desire to share the gospel. She loves “teaching others about Jesus.” Recently, she felt the Lord prompting her to share the gospel with new friends at her gym and from that desire grew a Bible study. Ashley is praying that the “women God places in my life, and their families, would come into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus.”
Barbra has been a believer for only a few years. She feels compelled to share her testimony and what she has learned about God. Most of her friends and family are not believers. She leads a Bible study for 40+ people at her workplace. She said, “It’s amazing seeing the people that the Lord has put in my life to teach me and bring me closer to Him. I want to be that light for others as we spread God’s Word.”
Please pray for our church as we seek to be ambassadors for Christ to those God has placed in our lives.
