OBITUARY FOR ENOCH TYSON

Enoch (Enis) Tyson a man after God’s own heart. The son of Sam and Lucy Mae Tyson and was born on January 17, 1957, in New York. He lived the majority of his adult life in Jersey City but moved to Georgia in 2014. He transitioned due to heart failure quietly at home while sleeping on August 8, 2022.

Enoch attended the New Jersey School system, where he excelled academically. During this time, he met and married his high school sweetheart Michele Tyler. They gave birth to their four children.

Enoch was blessed with many athletic gifts and was a perfectionist. He participated and finished multiple cycling marathons, creative choreography, roller skater artist on wheels, a sponsored billiard player, and is in the 300 highest score bowling hall of record. He was known for all listed, but being a master mechanic, a physician for cars, a gift passed down from his father outshined them all. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Lucy Mae, and brothers Kent, Tony and Joseph Tyson.

Enoch is survived by his children, Enochia Clark, Joshulin, Enoch Jr. Pierrie and son-in-law, Alvin Clark; nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Siblings: Marie Blake, Sam Jr, John Henry (Essie), Michael, Sheila (Anthony) Felix, Lillie, Jackie, Ava (Kelvin) Mason and Pamela Kornegay; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives whom he loved dearly.
