Just as we love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19), we give because He first gave to us. In that spirit, we are deeply grateful for the generosity that supports not only the ministry at Perimeter Church, but also our local and global partnerships around the world.
There are a few simple ways to give.

This first step is often the most challenging, with many thoughts and concerns that cloud our desire to begin. You might wonder about when, how much, and how God will provide for the gap. God has a perfect record of providing for His people and honoring the gifts that come from sacrificial and obedient hearts. Don’t wait for the “right” time. Trust Him to provide as you take this big first step of faith.
Consistent giving is a spiritual practice that builds trust, anchors us in God’s provision, and unites us with His people throughout history. It allows us to break free from unhealthy habits and thoughts that may have limited our giving. As we develop a regular giving rhythm, we experience the freedom that comes when our head, heart, and hands are surrendered to a God who faithfully provides for His people.
If God has provided you with a surplus, consider how He may be prompting you toward deeper generosity. By now, you’ve made the choice to give and developed a spiritual practice of regular giving. You’re at a stage in your giving journey to make lifestyle choices that enable you to give more or keep less, and make long-term investments that establish a legacy of faithful generosity.

When it comes to giving, Christians often ask the wrong questions that are rooted in the law (How much do I have to give? Is the tithe 10%? Or more or less?). But giving is like any other area of the Christian life: it is motivated, not out of legality but of love. It’s driven not by duty but delight.
We’re grateful for generosity to nonprofits—many of which we also partner with. But, giving to the church is different. Scripture teaches our first gift, our first fruits (Proverbs 3:9), belongs to God and is entrusted to His church. When we give here, it’s not just supporting good work—it’s an act of worship. We’re investing in the family that disciples us, cares for one another, and multiplies God’s mission locally and globally. Nonprofits do good things, but the Church carries the whole mission of God’s kingdom.
A tithe is biblically defined as giving one-tenth of one’s income back to God (Leviticus 27:30). While not mandated under the New Covenant, we believe it remains a wise and historic guide—a meaningful target to grow toward, or even a starting point for cultivating joyful, generous giving.
Historically, an offering is a financial gift in addition to the amount of your tithe. These are often made in the context of charitable donations to fundraisers, year-end gifts, or other opportunities as God leads you to give.
