Obituary

Marichu Nojadera Marichu Palad Nojadera (February 25, 1951-September 30, 2023) With deep sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, the Palad, Nojadera and Johannes families announce the passing of our kind, caring, and unimaginably generous mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Marichu Palad Nojadera. She passed away on September 23, 2023, at Northside Hospital after a courageous health struggle at only 72 years old.

While Marichu was born in Manila, Philippines to Agapito and Priscilla Baroma, she spent the early years of her life in Bagac, Bataan with her aunts and uncles, Pacencia, Isabel, Guillermo, Bayani, and Isagani. Later, she returned to Manila for college where she earned her Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting at Lyceum of the Philippines. She was passionate about the pursuit of education and instilled that in her family. She was dedicated to integrity in her work and encouraged by her trust in God.

In 1970, she married Eduardo Nojadera in Bagac, Bataan. She was a dedicated wife, and a nurturing mom to her children, Liwayway (Maita), Francisco, Lloyd, and Riyadh. Her love extended to her beloved grandchildren, Meagan, Jamir, Dylan and Carson.

In 2010, after retiring from her job as a Financial Analyst in the Philippines, she migrated to the US. She later was predeceased by her husband Eduardo. Marichu is survived by her children, Liwayway (Maita) Nojadera- Johannes (Brian) and their sons Dylan and Carson of Georgia; Francisco Nojadera (Mariese) and their sons Meagan and Jamir of Bagac, Bataan; Lloyd Nojadera and Riyadh Nojadera of Bagac, Bataan. She will also be missed by her siblings, Glen Baroma, Agapito Baroma Jr., Ruby Tolentino, and Girlie.
