Hello again, Friends and Family,

        We are now six days from departure to our partner school in Karansi, Tanzania. As time draws near it seams there are more and more things to do, but our excitement is mounting, and we are eager to see God’s plans for this trip unfold. We are gathering to pray and pack our teaching supplies next Tuesday night and will reassemble at the church Thursday morning, the 21st, at 11:00 a.m. to depart for the airport. We may need one more van to take us depending how much we pack next Tuesday. Any volunteers?

   We do have some rather urgent prayer requests to the ones previously mentioned. I’ve been  sick with a respiratory bug for over three weeks despite doctor intervention I’m still sick and behind on my lesson plans.  Some team members still have support to raise. Spiritual welfare seems to be happening in other arenas. Many  of these things  are discouraging and distracting. Some are just irritating inconveniences, but others are serious and sad. God knows about these. We are trusting in Him alone to respond to theses attacks so that we can have a single focus on hearing His voice and fulfilling His plans.  Please join us fervent prayer. I am so happy to have you on our team.

Hello Friends and Family,

Our Tanzania team is now less than a month away from our departure.  My journey has been lengthened on both ends to a full  three weeks.  I will leave on June 20 and not return until July 11.  We met as a team this week to decide about what our inservice education with the TZ teachers would be.  I have been assigned to lead a math seminar on decimals and percentage and lead another seminar on maps and African geography.  I will also be assisting in teaching other topics.  Perimeter School closed today for our students, and tomorrow is the last day for the teachers with our post planning meetings.

Africa as a whole is under spiritual attack as Moslem factions try to reinfluence areas of Christianity there. Please be diligent in praying without ceasing for the church and school there in Karansi.  They are a beacon on light on a continent that has vast areas of darkness. Pray especially for Godfrey, the headmaster of the school and for Pastor Wareili.

Here are our team\'s updated prayer needs.

   * That we would clearly hear God\'s purposes and directions for our team as we plan our agenda and lessons.

   * That we would be totally submitted  to His will and each other on this trip and function well as a team. All five Perimeter teachers have each been on Tanzania teaching missions several time.  Our two public school teachers are experiencing this for the first time.

   * Prayer cover for safety and strong impact as we travel, teach, and strengthen our relationships with our TZ teachers and students.

   * For families left at home to run smoothy as some of our teachers are leaving young children with dads or grandparents.

   * That we would continue to learn and grow from our experiences and the impact of  the strong faith and dedication of the TZ teachers

   * That God would continue to provide for our team\'s support.  I have raised $1900 (51%) of the total amount needed.  Please pray God would continue to provide the additional $1800.

I will continue to send updates until we leave on June 20th.  After that we will be mostly without contact with the US.  I will not have phone service there, but some of our team will.  There will also be email of our activities sent through Perimeter Church at points throughout the trip.
