Hey y’all!

This year I will be embarking on my next mission to Guatemala! I’ve been the past 3 years in the company of my family, but this year I’ll be going with friends under the supervision of the team leader. We will be traveling to rural villages to provide medical care and medicine. We will likely also provide vision screening and glasses, and dental services. These Medical Missions trips are to different local churches every day. Doctors on our team will assist the local Guatemalans with their medical issues as best they can. While waiting to see the doctors or get medication, they will come to stations where we will pray for them and share the gospel. I may also be helping in the pharmacy or assisting in the kids’ program. These medical clinics help the Guatemalans with their health issues and also help give the churches more influence in the local community.

I’d love your prayer and financial support as I travel to Guatemala. The total cost of this trip is $2300 and each participant is responsible for raising his or her own support. However, due to your past generosity $500 will fully fund my trip. Should I raise more than I need, any extra funds will go toward future mission trips my family will participate in. Your prayer support is also very valuable to me. Please pray God will do big things IN me and THROUGH me this summer.
