You may know that in October 2015 I was invited to accompany a small mission group to Esquintla, Guatemala where I spent time at the Mana de Vida school with the teachers and parents sharing knowledge I’ve gained through my work experience in foster care and in teaching. I fell in love with the Guatemalan people, especially the children. It was incredible to see how God was moving through that community and answering so many prayers and needs. God has been tugging at my heart to return.
On June 17th, I head to Guatemala for a week to serve at Mana de Vida, where the most impoverished children attend full-day school, receive breakfast and lunch and, most importantly, learn about Jesus. It’s such a joyful place! I’m excited to work with the lower elementary teachers to share about innovative and fun ways to implement tactile and phonetically based-instruction in reading. Additionally, I will be leading an introductory course on trauma, a common background among these vulnerable children. I will also have the opportunity to help with one of the medical clinics in the more remote villages.
I hope you will join me in prayer in the next two months leading up to the trip as our team trains and becomes more cohesive. Please pray for safety and health. Last trip we all fell ill and it took weeks to fully recover.
The total cost for this trip is $1725, and I am individually raising my own support. If you would like to join me in this opportunity to bless and be blessed, enclosed is a response card and envelope. It’s easiest to donate online by going to

Donations are tax deductible and can be made to Perimeter Church, who is training and sending the team and asks that your giving be above your tithes/regular giving to your home church. If I raise more than 100%, those funds will be allocated to my future trips.
Thank you for considering supporting me in prayer and/or financially.
Blessings,
