Lidia Rosa Perry of Roswell, GA, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on October 29, 2022, at the age of 85. She was born to Saturnino Marroquin Manzo and Francisca Garcia on August 9, 1937, in Guatemala City, Guatemala. She was the second of nine children, raised in a loving Christian home. She grew up in Guatemala and attended Instituto Evangelico America Latina, where she met Maurice Perry, whom she married on February 23, 1963. She and Maurice moved their family to the US and settled in Miami, Florida, where they raised their 4 children. She moved to Roswell, GA to be with her daughter and family in 2010 after Maurice’s death. 

Lidia was a gentle and soft-spoken woman with great faith in Jesus Christ, her Savior. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with family and friends. She always had a song in her heart and would often be heard singing hymns throughout the house; she was a long-time choir member at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church, Miami, FL. Her favorite pastimes included going to the beach, gardening and Bible studies. 

Lidia is survived by her children Sandra P. Sanchez, Ann C. Nichols, Jessica Cocchiaro, and Maurice G. Perry, and by her twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her three sisters.
