Host a Food Drive in Your Subdivision
Host a food drive in your subdivision or on your street to help benefit a Co-op in your area.  Decide on a Saturday morning and a place to collect from your neighbors. Flyers, signs, and bags will be provided by Community Outreach. Three weeks before the food drive, order flyers, signs, and bags from Community Outreach. Two weeks before the food drive, hand out flyers to your neighbors. One week before, place reminder signs in key locations. On Saturday of your food drive, hang out and greet your neighbors (usually from 9:00 AM - Noon). This is a great way to engage and get to know your neighbors.
Boy With A Ball | Love your City

Love Your City takes place every Saturday from 11 to 1:30. We meet at the Nett Church off of Jimmy Carter Blvd. to welcome and brief volunteers, and then go over to the community (Sarah Court NW, Norcross, GA 30093) at 11:45 to visit with families and to tutor the young people until around 1:30 when we wrap up. Afterward, all volunteers are welcome to join us for lunch at Plaza Las Americas- this is not mandatory, though certainly fun. Join us!
