For more than twenty years, Perimeter has invested in ministry relationships across Poland. Over that time, these partnerships have helped foster new churches, launch ministry movements, and unite leaders around key areas of focus, including discipleship, church planting, leadership development, evangelism, Christian education, and the development of a conference and retreat center designed to equip leaders and encourage collaboration.
That foundation of trusted relationships became especially important when war broke out in Ukraine in February 2022. Poland’s small evangelical community mobilized quickly to serve those most affected, opening their homes, sharing their resources, and providing care for refugees fleeing the conflict. In the years since, that response has grown into a relief organization that serves thousands of people each month and has become one of the largest ministries of its kind in the country.
Throughout this journey, Perimeter Church and our members have stood shoulder to shoulder with our Polish partners, supporting their efforts and witnessing God’s work through their faithfulness and service.
Continuing to Invest in Partnership
In June, Perimeter made another strategic investment in our Polish ministry partnerships by hosting the first Partner Summit since these relationships began. Leaders gathered to share ideas, discuss ministry opportunities, and encourage one another in the midst of challenging ministry.
Throughout the summit, there was laughter, honest conversation, prayer, and mutual support. They left encouraged, more deeply connected, and better equipped for the work God has called them to do.
At the request of our partners, Perimeter’s Founding Pastor, Randy Pope, also traveled to Warsaw to lead a three-day training on how to share your faith. The training, Express Your Faith (soon to be relaunched as Inviting Faith), was hosted by three of these ministry partners and attended by 50 strategically selected ministry and lay leaders from across the country. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with participants engaging deeply in conversations about sharing the gospel in the Polish context.
One pastor shared, “This training on how to share your faith is such an important piece of life-on-life missional discipleship. We are so grateful that Randy gave us his time and engaged with us in meaningful conversations.”
For Dan Keenan, Perimeter’s country leader for Poland, the summit and training represented something much larger than two successful events. “It was about bringing together like-minded, gospel-centered leaders to learn from and encourage one another,” he said. “Having Randy equip key leaders to confidently share their faith and train others to do the same is essential to strengthening the evangelical witness in Poland. We’re trusting God to build something significant through these relationships.”
Ken Branscombe, Perimeter’s outgoing Country Leader for Poland, believes these gatherings reflect Perimeter’s broader global vision. “Seeing our global partners gain greater momentum for the sake of the Kingdom is the ultimate goal,” he said.
What is happening in Poland reflects a broader trend Perimeter is seeing around the world.
“As our relationships continue to grow around the world, we’re beginning to see a broader network of gospel-centered partnerships emerge,” said Simon Cole, Global Outreach Operations Director. “It’s a beautiful picture of Jesus’ prayer in John 17, where He prayed for unity among His followers. God is bringing His people together, and we’re excited to see how He might use these relationships for His kingdom.”
