This year, as part of our quarterly Perimeter Serves initiative, Perimeter members brought joy and community to Beaver Ridge Elementary School (BRES) in Norcross by hosting Spring Fling 2026. With great weather and a strong turnout, the day was full of laughter, energy, and fun. One young attendee summed it up on the ride home, saying, “This was the best. I wish we could do this every Saturday!”
The Spring Fling featured crafts, games, and food for everyone to enjoy. The Perimeter School soccer team joined in, sparking an impromptu match, while a boys discipleship group took over the basketball court for a game with the kids. As Community Outreach Volunteer Coordinator Sharon Looney shared, “It was heartwarming to see everyone from Perimeter showing up and stepping in with such a willing heart.”
The event is part of a nearly 20-year partnership between Perimeter Church and BRES, a Title I school without a PTA. Through ongoing efforts like teacher appreciation, back-to-school support, and community events, Perimeter continues to invest in students and their families. As Director of Community Outreach Pollye Pope noted, “The goal is to help students stay engaged, build confidence, and develop a love for learning.”
