Life-on-life discipleship movements are expanding around the world

April 2026

Today, life-on-life discipleship movements are taking root in dozens of countries, from Australia and Brazil to Romania, Uganda, and the United States, with more emerging even in places we cannot name. As churches catch the vision, they are training others within their own networks. By God’s grace, what began small is now multiplying globally.

Ryan Brown, executive director of Life on Life Ministries, said, “God is doing big things, and Perimeter, alongside our partners, has a remarkable opportunity to equip His people as discipleship movements continue to multiply.”

Here’s a look at what’s happening around the world.

In Brazil, Life on Life has spread nationwide through our partner church, Igreja Luz. Seventeen cohorts are training this year.
In Uganda, many believers know Jesus but long for deeper discipleship. For over three years, our partner Gaba Community Church has been building a nationwide movement, training nearly 120 pastors last October.
In Ireland, our partner Betania Church, which has Romanian roots, is helping establish Life on Life in Romania.
In Guatemala, long-term partner Vida Real gathered twenty churches this fall to launch the Life on Life training process.
In Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, partners are holding Life on Life trainings for churches in their countries and beyond.
In Peru, Life on Life is beginning to take root, growing from an envisioning visit with our partner Union Church of Lima that led to the first training workshop.
And a trip to Egypt brought back an encouraging report, as churches that began Life on Life discipleship years ago remain committed.
