Perimeter’s GO Journey team—eight adults, 19 high school students, and one elementary student—made the 16-hour journey to Johannesburg, South Africa.
The gospel was shared right in the heart of the marketplace. The team invited people from all over the community to stop and hear the Good News shared by Perimeter’s Tegan Pienaar.
Incredibly, about 50 people raised their hands to accept Christ that day! The team encountered a deep spiritual hunger and an openness to the hope found in Jesus.
Many in this community carry heavy burdens. The GO Journey team prayed with each person individually and distributed buckets of food to to the hungry and hurting people.
After packing "Baby Boxes," the team visited government hospitals to meet with new moms, offering them the boxes filled with a month supply of baby items, encouraging them, and praying with them.
Through coloring, conversation, songs, and games, the team shared the love of Christ with local school children.
