Impact Report

Investors' Report | Spring 2022

To see individuals, families, greater Atlanta, and the world come into a life-transforming encounter with the Kingdom of God.

At different times, God has called us to serve our neighbors next door. Sometimes in a neighboring city. And sometimes—like these—God reminds us that the whole world is our neighbor. So we are starting off this Impact Report with news of what God is doing through your church and your giving to impact the world.

Providing for Displaced Ukrainians

Through the years we have learned in times of crisis to rely on our long-term Ministry Partners to provide support to immediate needs. As the war in Ukraine began, two of our church leaders were providentially in Poland and saw firsthand how quickly Ukrainian refugees were crossing the border. Our Ministry Partners in the region mobilized to provide food, housing, clothing, medical supplies, and other essentials…many of which were funded by the financial gifts from our Perimeter congregation.

Just recently, our partners shared with us how these gifts have helped:

  • Our partners have already found safe housing for 168 refugees in Christian homes in Switzerland. A bus with the first 76 refugees left Warsaw Wednesday morning! (See photos below.)
  • Our support is helping to feed and shelter over 240 internally displaced refugees who are still in Ukraine. They are being housed in converted cafés, churches, and other buildings.
  • Our partners have set up a Christian Call Center with Ukrainian-speaking volunteers who can answer questions, provide comfort, pray, and direct refugees to churches, hubs, and relocation centers.

Our partners have been moved by the support of our congregation. Your gifts are helping them respond to the crisis with compassion, at a time when the welcome arms of the Church are so desperately needed.

India Update with Nitin Sardar of Dinbandhu

This month, our partner from India visited Perimeter’s Staff Prayer and gave a ministry update. God is at work and they have seen many come to Christ! Distribution of food relief is ongoing as Covid still heavily impacts the nation. They requested Perimeter pray for God’s protection and blessing as they move into a new ministry area which is bringing persecution, but potentially great Kingdom impact.

During the 40 Days of Prayer, members in each of our cities gathered to pray over individual prayer requests, their community, and the world. Some cities streamed our Tuesday Night Prayer in their neighborhoods, and others gathered with multiple churches to pray for their community. Prayer is the greater work, and it’s happening throughout greater Atlanta.

Prayer does not fit us for the greater work;
prayer is the greater work.

Since September, Perimeter has hosted more than 11,000 people on our lawn!

Events like Ice Skating, Winterfest & Tree Lighting, Pumpkin Palooza, and Friday Night Blast foster connection within our church family and create opportunities to invite the surrounding community onto our beautiful campus.

In February we were honored to host Dr. Ted Tripp who spoke on "Shepherding a Child's Heart." This event gave more than 500 parents an evening of both learning and community. Dr. Tripp continued the conversation on a podcast with Executive Director of Family Transformation Jimmy Kim and Head of Perimeter School Jeremy Case.

Last fall, we launched Grow & Belong, a Sunday morning environment at 9 AM for adults to get to know others in their church family and grow spiritually together. It’s become a time of learning together in community.

Our community of twenty-somethings is growing through weekly meetups and a monthly social event like bowling or listening to music together around town. On Sunday mornings, you can find them serving in different capacities all over the church!

Legacies Are a Matter of Choice. What's Yours?

Have you decided who will care for your children or receive your financial legacy?

In March, Perimeter elder Jerry Black led a Q&A conversation with Christian finance expert Ron Blue on stewarding God’s provision along with practical applications. Learn how you can biblically protect, preserve, and pass on these blessings to the next generation.

2022 Year-to-Date Giving Update

Jeff is casting a vision for us in 2022 for renewal. Because of the generosity of our people, Perimeter Church is able to meet needs for the renewing work of Christ both within our body and around the globe. While many of our hearts are unsettled by events unfolding in Ukraine and elsewhere, we have been able to answer God’s call to care for the poor and oppressed. He is still on His throne, and He is at work!
