In a time of church decline, a new dream for 100 church plants is rising.

When Dr. Robert Kim and his wife, Wonmin, take their dog for a walk, they often find themselves in unexpected gospel conversations. Their dog’s name, Mission, naturally sparks curiosity and opens doors to share their faith.

That same readiness and intentionality now shape Robert’s role as Perimeter’s new Director of Church Planting, leading Perimeter’s 300 Dream effort to plant 100 churches by the year 2052.
Robert’s calling is rooted in legacy. His grandmother came to faith through Presbyterian missionaries in South Korea, and her story continues to shape his passion to reach the unreached through church planting.
He steps into this role at a pivotal moment. While many churches across the nation are closing, new opportunities for gospel movement are emerging—especially as Gen Z returns to the church in significant numbers.
“Atlanta is a rapidly growing global city filled with both great need and great potential,” said Dr. Kim. “Church planting remains one of the most effective ways to reach new communities and ensure the gospel is passed from one generation to the next. The churches we plant today will serve the next.”
