A Journey to South Africa

Street Evangelism: The gospel was shared right in the heart of the marketplace.

Speakers were set up in a local open-air market as Perimeter's Tegan Pienaar shared the gospel. They invited people all over the community to stop and hear the Good News.

Incredibly, about 50 people raised their hands to accept Christ that day!

The team encountered a deep spiritual hunger and an openness to the hope found in Jesus. Many eagerly listened as they heard about His love and were invited to become part of the local church community.

The team had the opportunity to encourage and serve the next-generation leaders at our partner, City Hope Church. By leading in the kids' ministry, they also gave local leaders a much-needed break while building relationships, sharing testimonies, and encouraging one another across cultures.

The GO Journey team spent the school day with children ages 3–7 from the inner city and nearby informal settlement communities. Through songs, games, a Bible lesson, and coloring paper crosses, they shared God's love with them.

Abortion is legal and free at government hospitals and clinics in South Africa. After packing "Baby Boxes," the team later visited government hospitals to meet with new moms, offering them the boxes filled with a month supply of baby items, encouraging them, and praying with them.
